Conversations with Writers at the Mews Coachworks

Our next guest, in conversation with Devorah Baum on Sunday October 18th at 5pm, is cultural critic and novelist Lauren Elkin, author of The Flaneuse: Women Walk the City, Art Monsters: Unruly Bodies in Feminist Art and, most recently, Vocal Break: On Women, Music and Power, as well as the novel Scaffolding. Join us for what promises to be a fascinating and lively conversation between two of the finest essayists and critics writing today.

As always, there will be wine and pizza to accompany and follow the discussion. And you may notice that we are trying out a new timeslot for this occasion, early evening Sunday to enable you to spill into the pub to extend the discussion, or to get yourself home at a civilized hour.

We look forward to welcoming you!
